What Is Project Enybody?
Project Enybody is a teen group focused on raising awareness of and fighting climate change throughout the community by doing various projects and events. ENY stands for "Earth Needs You" and embodies the idea that anyone can make a difference!
How Did Project Enybody Start?
Project Enybody was founded in 2013 by William Zhou, a student at Palo Alto High School. William always loved nature, traveling, and taking pictures. While on a family trip to Alaska, he saw rapid glacial meltage and was inspired to do what he could to protect the environment. Project Enybody actually started as a school project. William's english teacher had devoted 20% of all class to allow students to pursue whatever they wanted and William decided to create an organization that dealt with climate change. With the help of the City of Palo Alto & the Bryant Street Garage Fund, Project Enybody was truly able to grow and develop into what it is today.
